Legba's Crossroads is currently a one-person, part-time webstore. Our proprietor, Mambo T, does her best to get orders out in a timely fashion (7-10 business days, depending on what has been ordered and if it is handmade or not). However, due to out of stock items, backorders on statuary, seasonal increases in orders, or other unforeseen circumstances, sometimes orders take longer than this to assemble and ship. We will keep you informed if your order is on backorder, is being made by hand, or is otherwise delayed in any way that will require more than 10 days to process and ship out. IF YOU NEED AN ITEM ON A RUSH BASIS, PLEASE LET US KNOW WHEN YOU MAKE THE ORDER. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED DEADLINES IF YOU DO NOT NOTIFY US AT THE TIME OF ORDER THAT YOU HAVE A RECEIPT DEADLINE and will assume that you are willing to wait for the item to arrive to us or be completed so it can be sent.
All orders shipped via Priority Mail and Priority Express Mail are insured and will come with tracking numbers. All others are insured by request only, and tracking numbers are only provided in certain formats and circumstances. If you need a shipment to be tracked, please choose Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express as your shipping method.
Because shipping costs vary widely due to weight and destination, a Shipping Estimator can be found in your shopping cart. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES SEIZED OR RETURNED BY CUSTOMS. While we do our best not to ship prohibited items to prohibited areas, sometimes we might not have the most up to date information about the situation where you live. Please check with your customs office for items prohibited in your country. AS OF 2016, WE CANNOT SHIP ANY FLAMMABLE PERFUMES CONTAINING ALCOHOL OUTSIDE OF THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES FOR SECURITY/SAFETY REASONS. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Returns and Cancellations
If you have placed an order for a hand-created item, it cannot be refunded once it is shipped. We do not accept returns on any opened or damaged items. Items damaged in transit will need to be claimed with your local postal office. If you place an order for a statue and we are unable to get the statue for you in a timely manner, we reserve the right to offer you a refund or continue to hold your funds until the statue becomes available.
